What these are
Two utility tools that live behind the clinic's existing PMS:
{ocr-thyroxine}— optical recognition of thyroxine-pill markings, a medication-scanner subsystem, primarily tested for{ThyroidSupport}. A separate Railway microservice, forwarding the image bytes to the Gemini multimodal vision model, deployed in Google Vertex AI, to return structured JSON, turning an unstructured photo into typed dosing input via Vertex's vision inference.{appointment-notify}— full-stack appointment scheduling and notifications for the practice (full booking lifecycle). The frontend is a React + TypeScript SPA, talking to a FastAPI backend with SQLAlchemy over PostgreSQL for persistence, a double-opt-in email, and syncing functions to Google Calendar (service-account API). Process is assisted by an OpenAI-backed chatbot answering booking questions, and a token-protected admin panel managing slot inventory.
Listed here, not on the home page, because they're operational rather than research artefacts. Both are open-source candidates once the clinical-research programmes have stabilised.
